Yoga Among Giants: An Autumn Mini-Retreat
Transition into autumn with intention, movement, breath and reflection.
Autumn is a time for harvest, saving seeds and preparing for the shorter days of winter. Although we may not be directly connected to these practices in our modern daily lives, we can do so intentionally and metaphorically.
Join me for a day at Calaveras Big Trees. I will guide you through yoga practices-- movement, breath, meditation-- to help make the transition to autumn personally meaningful for you. We will enjoy a delicious, seasonal lunch made by Lauren Scott and enjoy meditative time among the Giant Redwoods. A docent will also guide us through the forest. Even if you've been to Big Trees Park before-- there is always something new to experience (just like on your yoga mat!).
- Morning and afternoon yoga sessions with Colleen in Jack Knight Hall.
- A delicious, light lunch and snacks made by Lauren Scott.
- A guided walk through the North Grove with a Big Trees docent.
- A meditative walk and other opportunities for reflection and journaling.
